Cassandra Han: Script Development Producer
Cassandra’s career in film, television and theatre has spanned more than 30 years. As a casting director, she has worked on projects for Netflix, Sky, Twentieth and Century Fox amongst many others. Cassandra has also worked extensively as a writer, editor, dramaturg and translator, specializing in adapting German and Italian screenplays and pitch materials into English. Cassandra will work alongside Robert Young, Stephen Cranney, James Daly, Neil Gardiner and Sadie Kaye on the development of screenplays with the rest of the writing team at CFPL.
New York film and television production credits include Jim Carroll’s The Basketball Diaries with Mark Wahlberg and Leonardo DiCaprio and the PBS documentary series The Human Language.

Cassandra has also worked extensively as a writer, editor, dramaturg and translator, specializing in adapting German and Italian screenplays and pitch materials into English. In the 1990s, she worked for Broadway producer Richard Frankel, as well as at the Tony Award- winning La Jolla Playhouse and Opera Company of Philadelphia. Cassandra also co-founded and helped run two New York theatre companies, including Ethan Hawke’s Malaparte. Alongside her work in the entertainment industry, Cassandra ran a family business for 18 years. Cassandra holds a Master of Fine Arts from Trinity Repertory Conservatory and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania.

She is a founding member of Women in Film, Television and Media Italia and holds membership in the Casting Society of America (CSA), the International Casting Directors Network (ICDN) and the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
