James Daly: CEO, Head of Films

James is heavily involved in developing the full slate of horror films for Clever Films Productions Ltd as Head of Film Production and CEO. Over the course of the last fifteen years James has also successfully raised finance, and executive produced for film, TV and documentary film content such as second world war drama ‘Surviving Auschwitz’ and cult hit psychological award-winning Netflix and Sky horror film ‘Let Us Prey’. He was also involved as finance producer and executive producer on the critically acclaimed feature film documentary ‘Sailing with Miss Sadie’ starring producer/writer/actress/broadcaster Sadie Kaye and TV show ‘Polo Field of Dreams’.

James Daly has been working in media for over 30 years, having initially started in the music industry as a successful music artist known under the stage name Jamie Delourde of Dot Dot Dash his album ‘Hope’ is available to hear on Spotify under Dot Dot Dash Hope and he can also be seen performing live at The Fulham Palace Greyhound on YouTube. He then went into music management working with indie bands like Kerfew and Impinge. He now has over 15 years of experience in producing film and TV content.

Over the course of the last fifteen years James has also successfully raised the finance for several projects and was involved in producing a number of Independent Films including “Back in Business”, “Surviving Auschwitz “ and cult hit psychological award-winning horror film “Let Us Prey. He was also involved in the critically acclaimed feature film documentary “Sailing with Miss Sadie” starring close friend and producer/writer/actress/broadcaster Sadie Kaye.

Other projects currently in the development phase are the black comedy “The Whiskey Robber”, and alongside Neil Gardiner, he is working on the Dramedy “Rugby Girls” which is set to be produced by Stephen Cranney and Robert Young.

As well as the many film and television projects, James is also heavily involved in working with and producing the soundtracks on all of his upcoming products. This is in part due to his past work as a singer/songwriter and successful music producer.

With his wealth of knowledge of the entertainment industry, James is an integral part of the Clever Films team.
